Phase 1

This is a look at what we will be building first. This will be the guest house. I hope we will have lots of visitors.

Clearing the Land for building

We started clearing the land this week. These pictures show some of the progress we made. I also added additional pictures of my grandson.

1952 Ferguson TO-30

"Fergy" Rides again. The 1952 Ferguson TO-30 tractor was a gift from my Son in law Mark. The tractor once belonged to his father. After some engine work and rework of the drive train its back working the land again. The picture is of my grandson Jonah riding with his uncle James.

The new look has started

Well the dozer showed up Thursday to start building a road to the back of the property. I hope that who ever reads this blog will enjoy watching the proccess as we progress through the year. One of the goals in building is to use green building techniques. Now before everyone starts thinking I am a tree hugging libral, Its about how much money I can save in utility costs ect. This will be where Nancy and I will retire some day and I would like to be able to afford to live in the house. I will start posting pictures of the project as soon as possible.
